So...gotta put my disclaimer, I have searched relentlessly trying to figure out how to enable this. Can't find it.

I have a 2003 S600, US Spec allegedly.

I'm trying to figure out how to enable the TV Tuner option. I know how to get into the system menu with '1 + 3 + Mute' but all the check boxes are grayed out.

Is there anyway to unlock and enable them?

Even if you could unlock USA tv screen , tv tuners changed from analog to digital in 2010 or so, so any system in any w220 is useless.

They make some adapters to use the screen as a monitor so you can use an iphone or dvd player as a source video in , but they cost about $600

Which Screen the IC main display or the COMAND display? For the W221s, there is a Video Jack retrofit that can be done, and I think that is a lot less than $600 bucks if you do it yourself. It takes a Video Jack retrofit cable, drilling a small hole in the glove box wall, pulling the COMAD Unit out, disconnecting the main connector to it, connecting up the retrofit wiring to the main COMAND connector's empty slots, reinstalling the COMAD unit, and potentially having the dealer code it properly.
