S600 dying pump AND wholesale parts
So, everyone in the community has been so nice and helpful with me I thought it would be time to give back some.
I have a wholesale account with a Southern California Mercedes-Benz dealership so everything is about 50% off retail pricing and you don't have to pay sales tax. If anyone needs anything you can PM me and I will gladly give you the info you need to buy under my account (cash or credit/debit card only)
For example, I am having a problem with my ABC pump (?) and a brand new unit from Mercedes-Benz costs me $1,400 out the door. I know that's still steep but it is BETTER than the $2,600 retail price + 8% tax. Another example is that the dreaded Mercedes hydraulic can of oil costs $25 rather than $40. So my little shopping spree yesterday for an Oil filter, 2 cabin air filters, 2 charcoal air filters, ABC pump filter, 8 cans of hydraulic oil, and a set of wiper blades cost me $300 even.
Again, if you want a hookup, just PM me!
Now, like I said before I am having a problem with my ABC pump I believe. I hear a constant squealing from the engine as if a bad serpentine belt. My 2005 e320 has a similar sound from a shotty power steering pump but only when I turn hard-over. I can ONLY hear it inside the cabin and ONLY if I am gassing the car and ONLY if I am in drive. When the car is in neutral I believe I can still hear it faintly but only faintly if at all. Is this the power steering/ABC pump going bad or do I just need an ABC flush & filter? The fluid is pretty grey/yellow rather than gem-blue like it comes out of the can. I have no warning lights and everything works swimmingly. No leaks except small small ones from the top of the steering and ABC reservoir simply due to old gaskets. ABC pump or transmission? I am at a total loss.
Any help would be appreciated!

The pump is $400 at Napa or $376 at summit per this thread

Not sure if that's the right part but check those sources for your model year and report back

nice offer, but there are any number of websites on the web that offer parts at the same price, no hook up needed.
my favorite is www.oediscountparts.com that has the part for $1,387 with free shipping.

Thanks for the reply, I'm trying to help people out, no need to try to one-up someone. Please correct me if that wasn't your intention.
In any case, I put aftermarket items on my S500, E320, and CLK500. I learned that I simply don't like most aftermarket or rebuilt parts. Especially on an S600 I will be sticking to the Stealership. Not so much stealing with a wholesale account though.

I think its great you offered that up to people, just giving people a heads up.
I agree about the bulk of aftermarket parts except when well researched/established.

UPDATE
Let me clarify: I didn't mean that you guys have to give me your credit card number. Just if you're in Southern California you can go to said dealer and buy it yourself using my account, you just give them my phone number and it pulls up special pricing. The reason I said cash or credit is because if your check bounces it reflects on me, ya know?
If you are out of state I guess you can pay for the part over the phone and I can pick it up and ship it, or you can PayPal me and I can ship it. I didn't think of that--- I was just thinking for local members around me and local to Mercedes of Anaheim.
Does anyone have an answer to my question by the way?
