I need a Front Drivers side CAT, can someone help me with an aftermarket suggestion
I first got a misfire code on & so I replaced the coil and all plug. Now I get cylinder Misfire on 5, 6, 7, and 8. Took it to the stealership and they said its a back front drives side cat.
Does anyone have a got aftermarket (cheaper) alternative. Basically I want to cut out and weld in just the cat.
Thanks in advance for your help

If it's the secondary cat just cut both out and weld in piping.
If it's the primary you can go with a pair of high flow aftermarkets.

Thank You. I am already at the point of looking for aftermarket CATS... Hence this post.
I'm looking for suggestions of who and where can I get them at a good price. I've found Magnaflow so far but no reviews on their use for front CATS, just rear CATS use.
Thanks

I'm not sure which is a cheap and good aftmkt source.
If theres a junkyard close to you check out if there are any 215 or 220s. Scratch that, the cats are always gone before the junked cars are released to the public...
Never had aftmkt cats so idk.

Here's an update that may help someone out down the line. I talked to my local stealership and they said the Mercedes have a remanufactured drivers side Cat assembly that has both cats in it. Remanufactured to Mercedes specs. The cost is $400 with a $350 core fee for the old part.
I wrangled with several aftermarket options and just didn't want to risk getting a cat with the wrong flow rate or poor quality and tripping the O2 sensors. A Magnaflow cat that would have had to be welded in was $190, the aftermarket bolt in full Cat and Pipe is $350 -$$550. So I actually feel this was the best option as its a Mercedes part and perfect fit
