Looking for the right tires!

"Hello all you Mercedes fans!! I never knew that I would be driving an S430 Mercedes...albeit she's over 10 years old, and in GREAT shape, almost like new. It's the first time I've named a car. I guess I'm enjoying my ride since I've put 20k miles on her in the past year; thank goodness she came with only 39k miles on her tread.

I need this group's sage advice. I need to replace tires. I want sporty, all-weather tires that will last me a while. I've perused the forum and found a couple of recommends.

I would like more feedback. Please help me pick my tires for 'Harriet'. Thanks in advance!"

It all depends on where you live and how harsh your winters are.

Looking for the right tires - and found them.

I'm in Idaho - weather isn't as much an issue as Montana, where I learned to drive in lots of snow & ice. I decided on Michelin Primacy MXV4's. They're definitely spendy, but worth the ride!

Nice choice. The Conti DWS is a good all season tire as well.
