City lights?

I have a quick question, what are the lights that are on with the projector headlights being on?. I just replaced the headlight bulbs to a clean white look ones but there are these small orange lights that are on by the high beams. I want to replace them to match, but I don't know what they are called... Maybe city lights?
Parking lights?
Also where would I buy error free white ones?

Thank you,
Vonn

If it's the flashlight looking bulbs, that's the parking light. In the US they stay on when the headlights are on. In Germany they are turned off when the headlights are switched on. Maybe you can find a way to turn them off when the headlights are on?

They are the amber colored ones. I don't think you can turn them off.

They are called city lights or "standing lights" as the car display called them when they are out.

They take a 194 bulb, you need a resistor/can-bus capable bulb since that circuit has burn out detection. I have LED ones to match the blue color of the HID's and still haven't messed with setting up proper error cancelling. If I leave the lights on auto I get error messages for them right now but only in auto mode.

Thank u for the info. I think down the line I will convert and end up buying the OEM Bi xenons.
I drove home last night and I couldn't see a dam thing. I haven't driven the Benz in the dark lately. Driving the Audi at night the thing lights up the whole road LOOL

I thought all S classes had xenons. The factory HID's on my CL are amazing, they throw a ton of light. The bi-xenon and halogen high beams is almost ridiculous with how much light output it has on high beams, I drive quite a bit on non-lit roads at night and the lights on this car are perfect for it. My old 350Z had awesome lights as well so I was happy to not have downgraded with going to an older Merc.

I bet it does, I wish all of the Sclass came with Xenons. It is what it is LOL. I have no problem with upgrading the headlights but when I was looking online their still like $1,700 for a set. Thats insane... At this moment I am still moding my Audi so... But give it a month or two and I am sure you will see me on this forum trying to figure out how to install the Xenons LMAOOO
