Window works perfectly but stops at 1/3rd way down.

Hello everyone! My rear right door window was working normally and all of a sudden it stops at 1/3rd way down. The window fully closes but only opens to 1/3rd everytime. I have tried disconnecting the battery and it still doesn't work. I want my summer auto open windows to work, but if that window cant go all the way down, the summer auto open windows doesn't function. How can i fix it.

Is it one side or both sides? Check to make sure the child safety switch is not on.

Only the rear right window. How do I check the child safety?

The buttons on the driver's side door that control the windows. The switch between the front and rear windows is the child safety switch. It slides left and right. I'm not exactly sure which position is on or off. It controls the rear door locks and windows to keep children (and sometimes adult children) from doing something stupid.

The switch on the rear works, so the lock must be off. But it still get stuck 1/3rd way down

Jason,
Have you tried reprogramming the window by closing it and holding the button until you hear a click and then opening it and doing the same thing?

Otherwise, the only other thing I can think of is that the particular window might be off track.

One other thing, how far down does the rear passenger go when you use the key fob to open all the windows and sunroof at the same time?

John I have tried many times to sync the window. I even tried pulling the battery for 30 minutes. It's still stops at the same place. If the window is off track. How can I fix it?? Thanks
