Headlight Bulb Replacement
Can anyone suggest bulbs for the headlights? I just purchased new ones because the old ones seemed really dim. I could only see about 10 feet in front of the car and I had to turn on the fog lights to see. The new ones purchased are the brightest ones at the store, but I'm still having the same problem.

Out Of Control!!
You wasted your money---you don't have a bulb issue---you have an issue with your thinking-----find an indy who understands the MB systems and get a scan

No matter what bulb you replace, you still have problem to see the road, only thing to do is replace it with aftermarket HID bulb kit, the cost from $40 to $600. But your headlights is NOT design for xenon lights bulb, so you can see the road brighter, but your light may cause problem for other driver !! It may be too bright for other driver since the projector or reflector on your headlights is not design for HID light bulb.

but first determine whether your car has factory halogen or hid lights
if you have hid they level and move when you turn them on .
make sure to get a canbus hid kit they are about $60-80 otherwise you'll get errors

Thanks everyone for the help.
I changed my bulbs a year ago with the lowest cost option they had at the store. About a week ago I noticed they were dimmer. I assumed that the quality of the bulbs was the culprit, so I bought new ones.
My car has the halogen lights and they have been adjusted, so it looks like an aftermarket HID bulb kit would work

LEDs are not recommended for forward projecting lights in housing not designed specifically to capture LED surface mounted light spread. You end up with reduced throw distance and light scatter. HID conversion really is the best option. We carry high end Morimoto HID conversion kits if interested. Available in 4500k (soft white), 5500k (pure white), and 6500k (white with a slight bluish hue). Also have matching LED parking lights if interested.
