Just put in year/model and look in 'workshop' instructions? I forgot how the screen look like? Would you be able to make a copy of the software by any chance Chris? I can pull up whatever info is needed easier.

good stuff...hopefully one of our experimenters can give a step by step process on correcting the issue once a complete resolution is found. that will help rest of us hoping to get the mirrors in the nearest future

I ordered a disc with the WIS info for this matter. I'm waiting for it to arrive so I can take a look at it. You can reimburse me the cost if you wish. We will get this resolve soon.

There's a few guys on here have access to the WIS workshop. And they can have the diagram pulled up. I've tried asking them, but no one answered back yet. The face lift motor was held by 1centered screw.and the old ones had 3 outter screws. But those screws bolted right in the face lift frame? What I'm curious about is, when I put in the old motor for the driver side. Why is only the up/down adjustments are mixed up. But everything else works? Does that mean the passenger side should be the same? Or the wires #3,#4 is for memory/auto dip? I havnt had any time to mess with the wires. But if someone can come up with the wiring diagram.that would really be a BIG help.
But so must Chris have, why wouldn't you ask the diagram from him? I don't want to get involved with this mess.

He said he doesn't know how to look for it. So if you can kindly help us out and post the wire diagram. That would really be great!

Of course I pay for it since I have no clue where or how to look for it my self.

MB mechanics don't need developer mode either, they have other means to complete the tasks where we need developer mode.
I can provide a copy of the wiring diagram for the car owner who needs it to get out of this mess ("mess" it is in my opinion, some may disagree, some may agree, I accept everyone's own opinion). However, I'm not that sure about the factory wiring diagram being of great help if the new parts do not follow the factory parts behaviour and implementation.

He blames MB experts not knowing these things and then cannot read the diagram from WIS (As I said before, he has it, a different thing if he cannot find it, after all it takes a couple of clicks with WIS once the model has been selected).

i keep seeing different mirror housing for 07-09 and 010+ for our s550s on ebay. does anyone know if the 07-09 mirror motors can be retrofitted into a 010+ mirror housing? it would help save a lot since 0em and even aftermarket 010+ mirrors are highway robbery IMO.

You have all that info here if you read. And if you mean by "motors" the hole mirror without just the cover then you are way off. Will NOT fit att all. You must have the hole thing.

I don't understand after reading this we are trying to correct our problem and not buy OEM and spend more money , I'm glad to hear his works but that doesn't help us
