Any good places to get OEM quality personalized trunk badges?
I will like to use a similar font design as the S550 badge on the trunk lid of my s550. Know any good places to get a quality badge? So far I found this website which seems to be good, any other suggestions?

Those look as good as any I guess but I've never seen a set of those on a car that didn't look silly. Better to debadge it entirely if the goal is to have the car's lineage be ambiguous, IMO. What did you want your decklid to say?

I have slept on it and I agree with you, it looks silly! Not sure what I was thinking, I was going to have it say "LeBENZ". LOL

My question is once the Mercedes-Benz model designation is ever altered, how do you get it back to the OEM location? I don't know of an applicator which is clearly used at the factory to get the location and spacing correct on them. That is one of the very first signs a car has undergone paintwork when the model designation is off center or of the spacing is incorrect. Not sure why I am that way but there is nothing I can do about it - it's my personality.
If anyone does know the tool that is used at the factory I would be interested in a part number or price of it.
I saw an SL500 with the model designation right justified. I think that was a first and needless to say it was good for a chuckle.
