Is this an issue?? (Steering wheel)

I noticied that my w221s steering wheel does not go all the way up. It adjusts but does not go all the way up. Is there a problem?

I'll be the one to ask the question. What makes you think it does not go all the way up? Are you comparing it to another W221?

We all have trouble getting up sometimes with age.. lol.. is there a way to reset it or calibrate it? I would measure and compare with someone here who can get it up all the way?.. no, I'm not trying to be funny lol

For some reason, when I turn on the easy entry/exit feature, it does not seem to work but It used to when I first bought the car. I have programmed my seat on memory 1 if that helps. I will post pics later.

Have you tried unplugging the car battery and letting it sit for a half hour? Let it reset fully? May re calibrate

No but I am thinking about replacing the starter battery soon. I do not know if I should or not because when I move it closer to the little black dot, it starts fine.

About the steering wheel, take a look at the pic, this is how far it goes. The easy entry/exit is currently off and the seat is in my driving position memory 1. The easy entry/exit worked well before I had my driver window reprogrammed.

My steering wheel in a 2012 S350 goes up a lot higher. I'm not sure it makes a difference, but I drive with the steering wheel almost all of the way out towards me.

Get it checked out.

If reprogramming was performed by MB dealer have them revisit to confirm easy entry/exit is working properly, repair is covered for 12 months/unlimited mileage by MB.

I wouldn't be surprised if whatever messed up the easy exit entry feature is the cause here, I would take it back and let them fix that, and there may even be a calibration for the column on Star they can do, or just resetting the module or programming it correctly may do the trick.. The guy above mentioned something though, have you tried moving the wheel in or out and then try going up? If it goes all the way up when you adjust the depth there may be an actual problem in the mechanism.
