DIY Front seat Dynamic bolster hissing

Was driving today and took a corner and felt the nice bolster.... for a second and then heard a hissing noise. Tried a test to see if it was the valve of the bladder not holding air. Looks like I might have to replace the bladder assmbly. Stay tuned for a DIY on removing the front seat/back rest cover.

Nick...Mine was doing the same. The dealer said it was a bladder inflating past its normal limits. They replaced it (warranty).

You have to remove it all to get to it. It is in the front of the seat right under the leather.

Mine makes a hiss when massage is on sometime. Massage works great and I thought some hissing was normal when the cushions deflate at certain times.

So I talked with the guy at the dealer and he told me what is called the "seat adapter" is the assembly of bladders and it is 750. I looked on the web and it goes for about 550. Being the cheapskate I am, I'm going to see if I can redneck repair it with a bike tire patch first if it is leaking from a rupture. Otherwise ill fork over 550 for it on the interwebs. The part number is 221 910 22 75. Either way I'll take pics on disassembling the and removing the chair. And yes it will require complete removal. I already know the SRS light will go off but I have SDS at my disposal so not too worried. I'll start Monday. Mine started at 73K miles so I guess I can consider myself lucky it lasted that long.

First look for two screws at the bottom of the back rest. I believe they were 25 torx. Unscrew these screws

Next pull down on the panel and pull it out.

Next disconnect the yellow plug that connects to the headrest. Just pull it out. Then locate the circlip that keeps the headrest from coming out. Remove that. Now remove the headrest. The headrest is clipped into a plastic guide rail so be careful not to break it. Hold the rail with one hand and pull the head rest with the other

I need to do the same job on my car.

Did you manage to complete this task ok?

Would love to see the next set of pictures to replace the dynamic seat bolsters.

Dynamic seating driver side hissing everytime it inflates on the left

Everytime I take a right turn the left side inflates half way and makes a hissing noise and it bothers me because I actually like the dynamic feature now my question is : can I swap the driver seat with the passenger seat I think they have the same features but keep Everything functioning normally? coz I don’t need that feature on the driver side so I’ll just keep it at zero
