Trunk/bootlid clunks upon opening. Is it normal?

Trunk/bootlid clunks upon opening. Is it normal?
Each time the trunk opens, toward the top of its travel, a clunk can be heard coming from near the lid area. The trunk otherwise works fine. Is this normal?

I haven't tried to move it slowly to see if I can isolate the noise. If the responses here suggest that the noise is abnormal, then I look deeper.

Yup. Between Justin's attestation and Jason's video, I'd say it's normal.
