S600 TCU - M gear hold and heating tire question

I have a 2008 S600 and have received a few different reports regarding a TCU program or swap to achieve AMG functionality. I know the IC can be version coded to provision M mode with the existing TCU, however it does not actually hold the gear as M mode is designed to do. It will stay in gear until redline but then forces a shift.

Also, I was wondering what peoples experiences were heating drag radials at the track? It seems that ESP will intervene and prevent this, even when disabled, and dyno mode really does not provide the desired effect either as the car will not shift into 1st gear (from what I understand by design).

Thank you

Depends on the weather
He heats these up pretty good...although not stationary, I'm sure it's the same.

I saw that when looking for a solution. It would be hard to use that technique at the drag strip, though

Is your S600 a 2007 (guessing by the SDARS antenna)?
