Windshield Washer Fluid Leak
Hi Guys,
I got refill windshield washer message in cluster the other day, so put in gallon of fluid and drove 5 minutes and parked at gas station and all the fluid started leaking out, my washer tank is on drivers side of engine, but all the fluid was leaking from passengers side and dripping by fog light, any idea if it could be a pipe or pump or any ideas, has this happened to any of you guys, what was the fix, is it a DIY any info appreciated
Thanks

I did a diy on removing the pumps and the windshield washer fluid reservoir alittle while back. Not impossible but kind of a pain in the *** if you have large hands. You might might want to take it apart and inspect the seals

I had something similar happen to me except on the driver side. I got the low level message and refilled the tank. Next day I had a puddle of washer fluid all over the floor.
My car has the headlamp washer option and what happened was the tubing connected to the driver side headlamp washer nozzle had come off from the tube going into the washer fluid tank. It was just loose enough to allow fluid from the tank to drip drain overnight. To find the leak, I had to open the front wheel well lining. Just pull some plastic clips on the lining and yank the plastic lining open.

My drivers side of car is dry no leaks, just leaks washer fluid on passengers side, I think it must be a leaking hose or something, does any one know any thing I should check for on that side

Thanks for all the info guys, seems the pipe attached to some sort of pump on the passengers side was loose, it seems there was a plastic clip that holds it on was not connected properly, all secure and dry now.

Did you happen to take pics of this by chance? I think I may have a similar problem. Mine is coming from the front of the driver's side - slow leak, but I am sure it is only a matter of time until it gets worse - thanks.

Reseating the windshield washer reservoir
I did a search for your diy on the windshield washer reservoir tank but I couldn't find it. I removed it so that I could change the driver's side lowbeam bulb but I am having an impossible time in reseating it. The 2 pins at the bottom do not line up with the holes (grommets) into which they are supposed to seat. Any insight or tricks as to how I can get it seated properly? I don't want to go to the dealer for something that seems so simple. Thanks in advance for any light you can shed on this issue.
