Sirius Sat Radio Problem

I drive an 08 S550; today I switch to Sat and get the message "To subscribe to Sirius, call 1-888-xxx-xxxx" along with my Sirius ID #. It's stuck on the last channel I listened to yesterday. Anyone have this issue? I searched some older posts which pointed to a free trial that offered more channels than their receiver could handle or something along those lines.

May very well clear on its own but since you cannot tune channel 184 for SiriusXM reset, call them.

FYI MB released a software update for a number of models including MY08/09 221 - see attachment here https://mbworld.org/forums/s-class-w...ml#post6452109 - out of warranty, have dealer check COMAND version if update is needed see if MBUSA will consider a goodwill update.

Are you subscribed to Sirius? If not you need to subscribe to have full access to the channels.

In that case just login to the Sirius site and send a refresh signal to your car. Make sure the radio is on and clear view of the sky. If that doesn't fix it then there may be a problem with the receiver.

Update: So I called Sirius today after multiple calls and unsuccessful troubleshooting yesterday. From what they told me (today); looks like a bunch of Mercedes were having issues yesterday with Sirius. Whatever the problem was has been fixed and I am up and running again!
