Rear Dome Light Bulb Removal
I still haven't received my owners manual yet from the dealer, its on back order. Can someone give me the instructions on removing these rear dome lights. Also which model bulb do I need? One of the bulbs is blown. 2013 S550

Depends on the weather
You just have to take your time really when you do them and apply the same amount of pressure to the entire side you are prying in order for it not to break. I changed every bulb in the interior to LED. They are all 194. Actually, every bulb on my car is now led except the blinkers.

I have the led tail lights and replaced my license plate lights with the led ones...even though you could just change the 194 bulb also.

I just did a count and bought mine from advance auto parts....they are 12.99 each but have since gone down to 9.99 but I always use the 40% off coupon anyway. Buy online and pick up in store. The all have a warranty so if any ever do go out I can just take it up there and they will give me a new one.

They change all the time. Use the 40.00 off of 100.00.

I replaced all of my interior lights with LED and switched back the following day. They were brighter and whiter, however I ended up deciding that the warmth of the traditional bulbs better matched the "elegance" of the S class.
To each his own, obviously, but the time spent replacing all of the bulbs was wasted for me
