Finally the time has come! Face lift Kit arrived.
After many many reads and thoughts of whether I would really go through with it or wait till I bought another one I ordered the facelift kit from Gary as advised by a buddy and everyone on here. It was a quick transaction and delivery (thanks Gary)...I have the body shop taking pics and "supposedly" sending them to me on a regular of the progress. I am very excited, I am doing the mirrors last due to the cost but will be getting them soon. Attached a pic of her. Some of might recognize her if you get on Instagram from my BenzAddicts Page. 19,500+followers.
If you want to have your car on my page just DM me on Instagram with you saw this post on MB World and I will be ge glad to post your whip on our page. Especially if it is a w221!
Thanks to all the people on here and how you have over come issues I hope I can piece it all together and come out with a good experience.
I will keep you guys updated on the progress.

Anything you guys want to throw out there you have experienced before it happens feel free to comment my biggest worry is DRL's I seen so many posts about where to connect them. I told the body shop to leave the fogs connected and tuck them and then to connect the DRL's to the side marker lights since they are always on. Hope that was right.

the last guy who did a facelift did a fairly detailed write up. check his thread out. He found that he needed to buy the factory reinforcement for the rear bumper from a 2010 OEM bumper.

I don't think that guy used Gary's kit, which has its own complete bumper. If you're trying to do an S63 rear diffuser on a stock AMG bumper you would need a skeleton.

Yeah I'm not doing that, It's the completed kit like some of the others I did read that thread but he did all OEM. And kudos for the write up on the audio upgrade Mike.

Gonna be epic. On my black 221 I shot the lower grilles in a gray charcoal metallic just to create some contrast between them and the bumper. Otherwise they kind of blend in and you lose some of the effect of having the larger lower intakes.

That's a Becker Stainless Axle Back quad exhaust, quite a bit louder than stock and would be a direct fit on your car once the kit is on.
Sitting on a shelf in my garage. If you want it, take it. Just need to cover shipping. (Or pick it up in Gainesville FL). Ends need a little cleaning up but any muffler shop can handle that.
I think I paid around $700 for it a couple of years ago. If you're interested I'll try to figure out how to ship it and the shipping cost. Otherwise I'll probably just end up tossing it out once I get over the heartbreak.

Nice. I ended up shooting the large piece of the rear diffuser in a dark gray and the center bit in bright silver. It all seems to wash together otherwise. (Just popped them off and shot them myself with Krylon Universal spray paint from Home Depot.)
BTW on the Becker exhaust I'm sending those "quad" oval tips are part of the muffler so you'd have those vs the square tips on there now.
