A/C Low pressure line is reading high pressure
My A/C quit working the other day. I got a can of freon and hooked up to the low side and noticed it was reading 75psi...... Way to much. I let some refrigerant out down to normal levels and watched the pressure rise again.
The compressor stays on all the time even when I turn off the A/C.
I'm lost on this one!

As forum member Critter has said in another thread:-
"It is my understanding that the AC compressor runs all the time on an AMG, when you changed out to the new one you should have recharged right away."
And i have heard that from several other people now aswell.
Your best bet is to get it to an AC specialist straight away.

This one was replaced a year ago and worked great. I turned the a/c off two weeks ago and didnt drive car since then. Then when I went for a drive the other day I noticed the A/C wasn't working. I put the gauge on to see if it was low on 134A. The pressure was through the roof.
Does the MB pressure run high natively. Thanks for your help!
