Guidance to Purchase 2008 Mercedes Benz S65 AMG
I am Looking for some Guidance ,Since we are interested to purchase a 2008 Mercedes Benz S65 AMG. I would like to know some Issues which turn out with this vehicle after few years. I am generally buying this vehicle for traveling long distance like 700 miles once in three month. Presently this vehicle has an odometer reading of 36,000 miles.

Is it possible to get an warranty on 6 years old vehicle from dealer. You might be having an idea about the regular wear and tear parts. Please suggest us some parts which regularly need to be changed

I would not recommend a S65 for long distances. I am not saying that it wont be well but it will break down often. Maybe a S550 will be a better choice.

yes you can get a warranty on any vehicle, it depends on how much you are willing to pay.
I got 07 S600 with 27K miles just this weekend and got 3 year 36k miles bumper to bumper warranty for $4500

I've owned 2006 CL65, 2007 S600 I currently own a 2007 CL600. I haven't had any repairs that my USAA warranty didn't cover. The repairs were nothing major. Motor mounts, radiator, window re-program etc.... I've never had ABC issues. maybe i was just lucky. I don't drive that much though.

MB will not warranty an older car but can always get one from a reputable third party through your MB Dealer. Please consult a warranty specialist at your local dealer and they will recommend one.
BTW, the S65 is a very reliable car and excels in effortless long distance driving.
