Anyone have the 773 AMG Exterior Carbon Fiber package ?

There are some discrepancies in the pricing of the 773 AMG Exterior Carbon Fiber Package, a few stickers I have seen (one in link below) say $3,570, while it has been listed at $6,500 on the MBUSA site both for MY15 & MY16; online configurator prices/options have recently been updated for MY16. Strangely the 773 pkg is not even listed in the Dealer Ordering Guide.

I'm considering order a MY16 with Designo Cashmere White with pkg 773, but at $6,500 + $3,950, well that's nearly $11k... and I'd likely opt for Diamond White with standard trim.

One of a handful of online listings I found showing it at $3,570...

Okay, so here is what I know from having my 2015 S63. Now keep in mind I bought as a CPO with 622 miles on it but it has carbon fiber package on the outside as in the side skirts, side mirrors, and front and rear air dam. That runs $6,500 as per the invoice the dealer printed from the system according to my VIN. That is 773 and is exterior carbon fiber and carbon fiber engine cover only. Now the guy who originally ordered my car also got carbon fiber inside which is an additional $3,700 and is listed as Carbon Fiber/Black Piano Lacquer Trim code H10. My car is also diamond white with silver forged 20" rims (wish they were black, c'est la vie).

Now I would think that this may be an example of an error in advertising as some guy typed things in incorrectly. If you add up their cost listed on the options you get $31,130 plus the base price of the car is about $160,900 which puts the total at about $6,880 under their list of $199,835, destination is only $925. Also from the pictures it appears to have the Designo Black Nappa leather which they list in the interior description but not in the options cost and it's another $3,250, then add the missing $2,930 and you're just about at their list, must me that "new" math . Not the most accurate website. Notice your link is not an actual window sticker, It's a list some yoyo typed onto a web page. The only reason I could think of that multiple sites list that same price of $3570 is that price may be the dealer invoice and some goof ball at the dealership typed in the invoice cost instead of the retail cost. They're not rocket scientists, they're salesmen.

In fact i was just on MBUSA.com and went to build my own S63 Coupe and the prices I mentioned are listed for the 2016 as well. The only difference is the base price of the car jumped from $160,900 in 2015 to $163,150 for 2016. The 2016 comes with a new version of MBrace that will allow you to remotely start your car and set the temperature of your car interior from an app on your phone. They also include 5 years of Mbrace with all new 2016 S63 coupes. That may be the some of the reason for a price increase. I asked and it's not backward compatible with the 2015's.

Yes appreciate the insight, thank you.

I definitely would not get the night view, except it is strangely a requirement for the Swarovski headlamps... so those end up being a $4k option.

The designo Diamond White is really nice and pretty sure I'd be very happy with that. It is actually more work in that waxing is required (unlike the magno), my CLS63P is easy to keep clean myself with a Gilmore foam gun and a microfiber sponge. When it's too hot here, I pay for a hand wash at a local place and bring my matte soap to them.

I think the crystal grey leather will hold up well, my CLS55 had the designo Porcelain which is even lighter and I had no issues with keeping it clean. It did accumulate some marks but they always came right off with a wet microfiber cloth. Just keep an eye on it and clean anything as soon as you see it.

I do wish MB offered porcelain/black as an interior option on the S63 Coupe, like it is on the sedan. It was/is may favorite interior combo. The porcelain/espresso available on the Coupe does look really nice but the light colored steering wheel, carpeting, seat bases, and matts will most certainly get dirty and those are much harder to keep clean than the leather seating surfaces.

I didn't think about the black wheels and brake dust, true it will hide it well and I know there are aftermarket pads that help reduce it also. A lot just depends on how long I end up keeping the car... I kept my CLS55 for 7-8 years!

The remote start sounds neat, I was not aware of that and would probably get the mbrace for that. Particularly here in Arizona where parking outside during the day can result in a 140-150 degree interior... My CLS63 I can leave the sunroof tilted to vent which helps, but that won't be possible with the S63 for obvious reasons.

fulmitz, congrats on your car and glad you got a nice deal on it. please post up some photos when you can, I have not seen a white one with the crystal grey interior yet. The crystal grey looks awful on the MBUSA configurator, but in other pictures I've seen it looks lighter and much, much better.

What is the allure of the Swarovski crystals? Just to say you have them? That will cut out 4 grand. As far as the magno, I agree it does look cool, but if you have a guy to wash your car, who cares about the work. Again, if you have a $200k car you can afford to pay someone to wax it. Just my .02. Again, if you love it who cares... get it!

Between the paint, the crystals and the CCB, you could save about $17,000, that saves a lot of money to pay for car washes over the next 7-8 years!

Swarovski headlights are strictly eye candy of course, but they look really nice and I am kind of a headlight snob. I've seen them on the 2015 Edition 1 model - which also have the magno alanite grey paint and red leather, neither of which I would want, and most seem to have the CCBs.

I enjoy washing the car myself, at least the 8-9 months a year when it is under 90 degrees! Only in the excessively hot summer months do I pay someone to do it.
