AWE track exhuast installed and Weistec Adjustable suspension installed. Front was lowered half an inch. Back is set to lowest setting.
AWE Track Exhaust review: The videos I have uploaded and what AWE uploaded does not do this exhaust any justice. You must see it in person to believe it. Prior to owning this car I had an Evo X which was as loud and obnoxious as a car can be so I'm use to a loud cabin where I can't have phone conversations. Initial start up: Louder than stock exhaust. You can feel the rumble with this exhaust. It is not quiet. If you give it some throttle you'll hear it sound even more aggressive. Cabin is much louder. The sound I hear is a rumble throughout like how a V8 should sound. In sports + mode you can hear the rumble slightly louder. I can still have conversations with my blue tooth in this setting and while on the highway. Cruising speeds: While cruising in low RPMs you do still hear the rumble. Not too much drone when I'm on the highway but I notice different sounds ever now and then in the cabin (plastic shaking, creaking noises) but these last usually a few seconds and are sporadic. When accelerating the car is very loud. Not an annoying loud or anything that you will make you feel uncomfortable but it is much louder as if they car is ready to take on anyone in the road. I now find myself driving with the windows down as much as possible. I can't describe in words how much I enjoy listening to the sound when the windows are down but it really makes the car sound so aggressive. My absolute favorite part is when the car downshifts on sports +. The crackle and pop sound has been amplified greatly and I sometimes find myself downshifting more often. My only small quirk with the exhaust is when in comfort mode. When the car does auto shut off you hear a clank sound which I was told might the valve in the h-pipe. It isn't loud or scary sounding but you can definitely tell something is being engaged or disengaged. I rarely drive in comfort mode so I don't really care. I will be putting the car back on a lift next week double checking everything to make sure all is good. AWE was true to their word and I haven't received a single code since it's been installed. The installation instructions aren't 100% helpful but being as an exhaust it's not too difficult. For the price this is a great exhaust. Great mod. Nice bump in power and torque. If you don't mind a louder than normal C63 then I say go for it. Otherwise stick to the valve controlled option. If there's something specifically you want to know just ask.

No scraping. I take bumps slower since I took the first bump without paying attention and heard a small scrape. You don't have to come in at an angle either just do it like you normally would but a little slower.

I have the stock performance exhaust and when in S+ with a cold start, the first 30 seconds sounds amazing. As you know, after that it gets substantially quieter - still sounds great, but not near as loud. So my question about the AWE exhaust - is it always (regardless of whether car is warmed up or not) as loud as the stock performance exhaust during first 30 seconds of cold start? Not quite? Even louder? Also, what was cost to install the new exhaust system?

When the car initially starts it does quiet down when I had the stock exhaust on S+. With the AWE exhaust its always the same rumble after the car is started and I began driving. The sound never dampens. If I switch to S+ there's a small increase in that growl too. I left my car on Comfort mode this morning as I was taking my daughter to day care and it was loud in the cabin and I'm driving no more than 40 mph where I was at. I drive with the windows down everywhere I can because the sound is enjoyable. The exhaust didn't cost much. I have a guy who owns a shop who works on my cars and he only charges labor. He charged 6 hours for installing the exhaust and the suspension. He charges $120 an hour but I'm in Hawaii so pricing is subjective to wherever you might be living at.

Rebellion piggy back tune and air filters installed today. Overall install took my mechanic 2.5 hours. Ran into some issues at first. Car only driven in Comfort mode to get use to the new found power. The piggy back definitely fixed the lag issue and when I went half WOT at low RPMs the back tires started spinning (45 mph). There's definitely a HP, TQ, and boost increase and I will be strapping the car to a dyno in the coming weeks to see what I make on 92 pump. Next is to test the car in Sport and Sport + mode.

Looks great with the drop!
Get some spacers and push the wheels out...it will totally enhance the drop and make the wheels look bigger, filling the wheel wells better.....
