2015 mercedes benz c400 comsumption figure problem
As u can see in the pictures. I didn't even put my foot on the gas panel. It is still saying I'm consuming 20l per 100km. Can some tells me what happen? Should I go to mercedes dealership to fix. Is this kind of problem under the 4 year factory warranty? Thanks

at rest your mpg will be 99.9l/100km (or in fact infinite) as you are not moving..
have a look at your trip l/100km after having driven with a reset at the start of the journey......
if its still this high look for fuel pouring out the underside of your car ... (it won't be this... )...

If you're not moving, the computer can only calculate based on fuel being used with no forward motion. That's not going to be very high number.
My car does not show a high number at idle, so not sure why Shadwell's shows 99.99.

Yeah soz, I am forced to run on L/100km down under... which is the inverse.. you sit still your number climbs.. you sit long enough you hit 99.9.. or off the scale..
I saw the picture and it was in L/100km, hence my comment which is correct for that measure.. my use of mpg was a **** up..

its calculating the fuel used per KM.. if you use fuel with zero movement the number can climb quickly.. instantaneous vs over trip distance here as average over trip will climb very slowly the longer the trip..
