May be if you sell privately , they are selling cars equipped like yours with less miles for 30k . Too many are going for 24k barely equipped but less miles, they will low ball you down to 20k is my prediction
You should get your $32K no problem as a private sale. The car should still have 2 years bumper to bumper which can be extended for a further 2 years for about $3500.
The dealer would likely offer $25-27K on a trade.

you have to spend sometime online looking at prices as I have ,I saw a 48k MSRP with less than 8k miles for 32k . How much do you think the dealer purchased it for ? Few minutes on Craigslist and you will find plenty of them below 25k as low as 20k for the base c300 with less than 40k miles.
i'm just saying prepare for the worst at the dealership if you choose that route otherwise he or she will end up depressed after the appraisal

That's scary that the car would depreciate so much in a couple of years. That's insane.
I'm about to leave the house to buy 2015 fully loaded C400 for $46K (original sticker $64K) with unlimited mileage bumper to bumper warranty until 2021 (I'm good at haggling). Now I'm truly considering more research as I don't want a car with such horrendous depreciation. Better off buying a Camry if the MB value is going to skydive like your suggesting! Scary.

That's a crazy good deal, I guess you were at the right time at the right place with the brand new design coming out and the market flooding with old model cars and inevitably creating some great deals. Probably the best time to buy a car, end of its life, must of the links worked out, instead of new car with lots of kinks. I like the old C-Class shape, my Brother in law has a 3.5L Blutech in Scotland. Lovely car. I might end up looking at one add I'm sick of hearing problems with the new model, seems like it might be fraught with quality issues. Made in Alabama might not be up to German standards. I think BMW has gone downhill since they began producing cars here. I'm old and European. Lol.

Same here. I paid $28,500 for my 2014 C350 (with most options, minus driver assistance) at 2 years old and 24,000 miles. Original sticker somewhere around $50000.
i just bought a 16 c300 4 matic p2, multimedia, pano, 12,000 miles $52K list and it was $35,750 in a dealer auction (from mb finance) so this is what a dealer would have paid for a fairly loaded vehicle.

i originally got offer 26500 but I left then they called me back and trade in for 28500

Take the average trade value from KBB and NADA for same equipment, this should be close to the offer.
Now take a look at what similarly equipped used cars are selling for on Autotrader and cars.com etc in your area. Make sure to filter for the correct options and similar mileage. Take the avg dealer asking price for these and reduce by 20%. Is this value close to the KBB and NADA trade value? It should be. If it is significantly less then the market rate may be falling for your particular vehicle. If it is significantly higher, you should press for the higher range of the trade in value.
Taking a quick look at the data, it's pretty clear that you are being overly optimistic with your expected trade in value. I think they will offer you something in the range of $28-29k. This range should be increased by 10% for a private sale.
