I purchased my 1993 500SL 4/1/15. The car started, ran great, not any problems. The previous owner installed 9007 halogen hi-lo beam. I noticed the hi beam wire on both headlights had been snipped. For what reason, I didn't know. I needed a brighter headlight so I purchased GS High Density HID lighting Kit. HID high beam and halogen low beam. I bought GS High Density HID lighting Kit HID high beam and halogen low beam and followed the installation to the letter. Installing the new lights was fairly easy. But when I turned the new headlights on the alarm went off. And the engine won't turn over. I have the hood, trunk lid, spoiler and top off the car for paint. Would those parts being off the car make a difference?? Causing the alarm to go off and the car not start?? Got me puzzled!! I would appreciate someone to help to solve my lighting problem. James
