R129 SL - brake calipers- threads in caliper or steering knuckle?

Hello,
can anyone tell me if the brake calipers on the R129 SL are fastened by a bolt going through holes in the steering knuckle and threaded into the calipers or by a bolt going through holes in the caliper threaded in the steering knuckle?

I have got two brand new calipers here that supposedly (and according to the manufacturer part number) are for the R129 SL (P/N 001 420 00 83 and 001 420 01 83), but I think they might be for the W140 S-class (P/N 000 420 84 83 and 000 420 85 83) as they have no threads in the caliper and won't line up to my W124 steering knuckles..
