95 SL320 convert roof problem
I moved my car outside today with the roof down. It has been sitting inside for about 2 weeks, I went to put the top up and it stopped half way.
Fuses are all good, I charged the battery( which I think needs to be load checked, it's about 5 years old).
No hydraulic leaks and the reservoir is full.
My best guess is the battery is shot or it's a mysterious relay.
Any advice is always appreciated.
Thanks

This typically indicates that the windows are not "synchronized". If you open a door and the window does not lower 4mm automatically, then this too indicates the windows are not synchronized.
You synchronize a window by pressing the switch to raise the window and once the window is all the way up continue to press for an additional 2 seconds.

The battery was load tested and okay.
I started the car and tried to sync the windows, but nothing works, windows top, roll bar, nothing.
i removed the battery yesterday, hoping that will reset something...so far nothing works.

Problem solved.
1 removed the battery and had load tested, it was fine, Charged it.
2 manually locked the roof down, front header, tonneau cover, rear top.
3 reinstalled the battery ( fully charged )
4 ran the windows up 3 times
5 with windows up, cycled the roof up and down and up again
6 with the windows up, opened the door to see if the window dropped a 1/4 of an inch like it should.
Its a miracle, fixed in time to put the car in storage
