Fluid capacity 2011 SL65, ABC and Brake Fluid
Ok I know some of you will be like ... Just do a search, well I did and even as simple as "brake fluid "and found nothing easily available.
So I now have a lift installed in my garage and I have around 15k on my SL65 and it's 5 years old, so it's time to change my brake fluid and I am planning on changing the ABC filter and fluid at the same time.
I am hoping someone will be kind enough to tell me what the fluid capacity is for both the brake fluid and ABC system on a 2011 SL65. Thank you in advance.
Dave

Ok, I did find that I should have 6 to 7 quarts of Pentosin CHF-11S fluid for the ABC, my initial search was and still is for brake fluid capacity.
Thanks this is a great site for a lot of very good information.

From experience, you're going to use about 3/4 liter for the brakes, and if you use a power bleeder (highly recommended) then 1 liter minimum. Flush until new clean fluid comes out.
Buy a spare bottle of fluid just in case. Shelf life is years if you don't open it.

Ok great thanks, to help I got some of the ATE blue brake fluid - I know it's illegal in the US because it's blue but it should make the job easier to see when I get into the new fluid.
Thanks again,
Dave
