2008 Ducati 1098 2003 SL55 AMG
Derestrict SL55
Does anyone know of a dealer in Southern California that can derestrict my SL55 to remove the 155MPH speed governor? Thanks.

Eisenberg...Anyone with an SDS, and I think the developer mode, should be able to do this. You should see if anyone on the forum in So Cal has an SDS, and give them a case of beer/wine to 'adjust' your car.
I did mine and it was about a 5 minute job. This 'tool' is indispensable for an R230.

I see. I need to pick up a used SDS system!

If anyone on the forum is willing to assist me with this please let me know, I'll bring you some fresh Ballast Point beer :]
