Find a better parts guy... that's a super common part that gets replaced on every brake job on every car.

NO LONGER ACTIVE
With a quick search in EPC, I'm pretty sure this is the part number for the bolt:

A2114230071

Yep, get a new parts guy!

I thought maybe somebody would of known a writeup on it on this site of hand or remember one being done.

"No wasnt trolling hey"

Did a google search on "SL R230 Parking Brake" and then went to images, clicked on some images of where it appeared it people had uploaded for illustration purposes and then found lots of valuable information and writeup on how to do this. You need a special tool to get some of the springs in and the springs go on the front not of the brake shoes not the back, Also I am missing a spring on my one. Reason I asked "how to put them back" is because if you check my original post replies " I stated I put long lug nuts!" they hit the inside springs and did some damage in a high speed pursuit (shhhhh), which explains why I dont know which way they go , as you can see above "pics" I opened up the drum to broken springs and shoes loose.

Hopefully that makes things much clearer for you

As for the caliper bolts and rotor screw, make sure you apply Blue Loctite when you reassemble.

I hear a lot of you guys apply loctite , and grease , and anti seize this or anti friction that, whats the go with all that ? do you really need all that jazz? the insides of this unit look dry as a desert why do people incorporate grease etc when they put things back together ? wouldnt one think if it was important Mercedes would of put it too? Sorry if I'm being a bit different how i might believe to you guys , but I do not really see whats all the jazz about with greases and lactate etc ..

Short answer, yes.
The WIS will even tell you to apply all of the above you listed on certain parts.

Any auto parts store will have loctite. That stuff is the reason your bolts were so tough to remove as it keeps them from backing out.
