Rear shock bolt stripped...EZ fix?

Hi:

I just replaced all 4 shocks on my R107, about a 40 minute job.

Shocks that came off were branded Midas so it looks like our Midas friends rattle gunned on the old nuts & as a consequence stripped one of the bottom rear shock mounting bolt threads in the aluminum swing arm. The other bolt is stretched & should be replaced. So they did a number.

Now I can fix this a number of ways other than original, but any suggestions from those who have done this before would be much appreciated & I really do not want to remove the swing arm/s.

FIXED EASILY used a thread chaser & refitted with a thick washer under the nut/s. Thanks, John.
