Using E85 as 'normal gas'

was wondering what would be the down side of using it in my car (04 600) as my primary pump gas.

It is 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline with a 105 Octane rating...and I can get it cheaper then normal gas.

i would get an ECU flash for 105 then, your car would be so much faster!

I know this thread is old but did anyone ever try to flash their ECU to 105 Octane? Anything else needs to be changed like injectors besides the ECU?

^^^^What he said.

As far as I know, if your car is not designed to E85, it will completely destroy your fuel system over time.

If your engine wasn't designed for E85, the increase in ethanol will slowly eat its guts out.
