What are you doing with the tranny? Are you going with a different torque converter?
I would love to take my engine out & replace all the seals, gaskets, & mounts... I have watching you guys talk about the mounts & am interested in a solution that would need replaced all the time (I know different thread)

For my own project then I am moving forward. As I decided to go for the supercharger from my Carlsson engine I pulled it from this. When removing it revealed what happened too it …… looks very dramatic.
I took the cooler of it and was again disappointed when discovering the supercharger was full of oil inside. It must mean the front bearing gasket is gone but luckily the back bearing are OK.
On my own supercharger it was the back bearing that was gone but the front was OK, then in theory I should be able to make a supercharger taking parts from both to make one.

After a lot of cleaning I was ready to mask the supercharger as it was going for paint!
Color grey not that exciting but have to match the engine ….. notice a small detail when painting one part black. Now everything has to dry before going into the oven.
Have to excuse the bad quality of the phots as I only had my phone with me at the time

A modded m113k with a manual would be a blast to drive. I would have trouble not grabbing a second or even third gear chirp on almost every up shift. Just wondering though, how would the SC be controlled?

Slide
Had the housing machined before assembling. Masking and painting – then waiting an hour for drying before baking it at 150 degree Celsius. I am pleased with the result – notice the two pins I made for holding the gasket and later the slide itself. Will be helpful if working on it while engine is in the car.

Slide ......
Had thou a major setback. The threads I made for the slide did not hold for 7 NM. I did fear that since I was never satisfied with the result of making the threads. Since I haven’t that mush experience in working in aluminum I do not know where I went wrong.
So I just ordered some helicoils ……

Coilovers worked fine so I could see the end of the supercharger .... and for the observed he will see I had to change the front of the supercharger ... no comments on that

Sleeves
ha ha - yes Curt ) I thank you for this - they look cool I think - if you are interested then remember you also get them in a more brighter color - champagne color - which will match your car. I will send you some pic. when I get home.
Continuing the build here comes a photo series for the manifolds as they were not straight and had to be machined. I build a jig to hold down the cost for this and off they went and back again - 100% straight

Wiring - changing plugs for injectors
Then it was time for the wiring – it needed a work-over since all the plugs for the injectors were broken. The clip holding the plug was broken on all of them – happened when I once were at the MB dealer – thank you MB ;( …….

Wiring - changing plugs for injectors II
Not a big job when it came down to it as I had the right tool – pics. showing how to change them – easy and an half a hour later there was new plugs all over and I could then installed it on the engine. MB contact fluid and notice the heat cover on top of the engine.

Supercharger
Well – I need to change the gasoline fuel pipe and then the engine is going in. That will be this April! But from there to start it up there’s a bit … with some luck it should turn in late May )
I did assemble the supercharger on the engine whiteout any problems …. notice the detail for holding the pulley … it was from my Carlosson engine …

Injectors
I'm not sure what to expect ..... I will list all my mods for anybody to give me a estimate ..... but the most important for me is better performance and that I know things a in good shape ..... a bit way to go still ..... but not long now )
The mods I have in place:
• Smaller EC pulley
• EC ECU tune
• 82 mm. Throttle body
• Carbon fibre intake box
• K&N filters
• KNP looped fuel rail
• NGK IX LFR7AIX 2309 Spark Plug
• Bosch EV14 52lb/550cc injectors 48mm
• Phenolic Spacers
• Kleeman Short Stainless Headers
• Middle resonators deleted
• Heat protected SC cooler
• Heat Exchanger (Johnson pump)
Converter K3000
Also notice the build is on track ….. here are my new Bosch EV14 52lb/550cc injectors 48 mm. … only concern is that they are some millimeters longer than originals but I hope that’s OK ??
