couple of issues i had with my sl55 this evening
hi guys
had a couple of issues with the car this eve, was having a play in the car and it was up to temp etc and was pulling fine the all of a sudden i lost all boost and then literally drive 800yrds down the road and it worked again, done it a couple times but did not throw up any lights, spoke to a guy and said could be a faulty air mass reading the wrong temp. wen i got to my unit i thought il have a look round and i couldn't find a air mass sensor on the intake system and then i was looking round and took the dipstick out to check the level on the suspension tank in the engine compartment and it started doing a dance then i selected reverse and turned
can anyone help ??

Intercooler pump. its located in the area between the front bumper and front tire, on the passenger side. you can access it by removing the plastic panel underneath the front bumper cover. there are tons of write ups here on the forum. do a search for DIY IC pump swap

If "having a play" translates to "I was driving the **** out of it" then you simply could have gotten the supercharger discharge temps too hot causing the ECU to disengage the supercharger clutch. After the temps cool back down everything will return to normal is such is the situation.
