07 SL65 Exhaust options?

Hi, i have a 07 SL65 and i want to give it a more v12 sound. Renntch 2500 dollar mufflers seem like a rape job to me. Has anyone here replaced mufflers etc and recommend any? I did it to my 1999 sl600 V12 but more cautious with this car.

Thanks
Bill

I did a full custom 3 inch mandrel bent exhaust with v bands after the cats, mid section, and exhaust cutouts so I could swap from cats/no cats, x,h, or straight pipe, and high flow mufflers/no mufflers. If your gonna spend 2500 you can pretty much get a whole custom exhaust done.

65s dont have secondary cats and resonators, thats why a muffler delete is enough for 600/65 for most people to give it a louder sound

Someone on here spoke about their Meisterschaft exhaust, that they love it. Looks like they have a few different options too.

Others on here just cut off the mufflers and seem happy. Youtube has a few videos.

Me? I just hit the gas more to make the exhaust sound louder

Downpipes, resonator delete and 200cell cats worked for me.

Just take the mufflers off first and I GUARANTEE you will love the sound. Any decent muffler shop can do it...and at same time upgrade to the 2014 SL65 exhaust tips...and for about 1000 bucks later, it will not only look amazing but sound will be Intoxicating...

The exhaust setup is the same. I would imagine it would be about the same. Maybe a little less growl as the 600 has a 5.5L engine.

Hello.
I have muffler delete and the sound is great... not to low and not to high....
But now I want something else.... so I order following new mufflers...
I'm looking for more fuller sound... now the sound is at my opinion raw.
So we will see if this setup of straight mufflers help...

What's really annoying is there isn't a video of a wide open throttle run of a 600 with just muffler deletes.
