I cannot catch a break, ABC pump went out...
I got my car going again, after a couple of other issues that had been going on since October. Well I take it for a test drive in my neighborhood and I get that "awesome" red dash light saying - ABC drive carefully.
So I drive it back to my house, and hook it up to my SDS to run a quick test, and get ABC fault low line pressure. I also checked the ABC fluid return line going back into the reservoir and nothing. No hydraulic fluid was circulating.
Anyone got a pump, they want to sell?

Did you bust a line? Is there pentosin in the resevoir?
If it is your pump, make sure to flush the system twice and use a new filter each time. I would also put a filter on the return line right before the reservoir. You want to get all those metal particles out of your system or you will have problem after problem.

The ABC had not been maintained as it should, by the previous owners. I had a feeling this was an issue to happen in a matter of time.

Interesting info, I was not aware that oreillys stocked the ABC pumps? I have a friend that works at a local oreillys and gets me stuff at cost. I will definitely look into it. Thanks for letting me know.

after all it might not be the pump. i have a bunch of small bubbles in the reservoir. so im going to perform a rodeo with my SDS and see how pump pressure looks.
the bubbles are a sure sign that 1 of the 4 ABC accumulators has ruptured. not sure which one, but im almost confident it is one of the fronts, because the front has a "bounce" to it when going over any type of bump.

when you say pulsation dampers. your referring to the 4 accumulators right? i know the CL55 has ONE front pulsation damper underneath the motor area.

Sources for ABC parts...
Struts can be found at Parts Geek or Rock Auto (sometimes), and Shock Warehouse (took 2 months for core credit - horrible service).
Accumulators, fluids and filters from RMEuropean, eBay, Pelican Parts, maybe the sources above (search by part number).
Pumps & hoses...not sure as I've never had to buy them. Maybe someone can chime in on good sources.

i ended up purchasing my accumulators on ebay. i priced all 3 (new not used) accumulators through several different places, and ebay was still the cheapest.

i haven't had a chance to change my fronts yet, but from what i have ready/heard its pretty simple. the car and all 4 wheels need to be off the ground on jack stands.

Chad,
Looking forward to your success and information about the replacement procedures. This is on my agenda for late February. Ordered MB ones from you know who!! A bit more cost, but I want them to be good for at least 50K miles.
Hope the install is straight forward.
