”fairytale” turned into a nightmare ……

So – this ”fairy-tale” turned into a nightmare ……

I told the seller to be sure to wrap this in very good way with extra hard cardboard since I have some very bad experiences with stuff like this ….. and what did he do?
He was way to reckless with this … this piece of art and of course it was broken when it reached me …… what a moron!

have a hard time to accept this …. finally got it but I guess it was not meant to be …..

PS - have a folder on my PC that says "Stuff ruined by transport companies" - scary - right?

Ah man, that really is too bad, that was a beautiful piece. When i prepare stuff for shipping, I always assume a couple of 1,000 pound gorillas are going to toss it around. Kind of like this.

Of course, you know how I pack stuff for shipment.

The shipper will not cover improperly packed goods so they just lost a bunch of money.

Needless to say my mood have been terrible the last couple of days ... every time I look at this fine piece of art ...... it is so meaningless .....

It has finally appeared to the seller that his packing was way off .... and he got a chock realizing what a new piece stands for ... repairing in Poland is €660 ... repair in Germany is €400 ..... not sure what it will mean - the whole piece as new should be it .....

The seller has made a claim to the transport company but I am not to optimistic about this due to the poor packing .... in any case the seller promise to give my money back if I want that .... but I do not want my money back - I want a carbon air intake! grief

Mercedes
Even with the chips on it, that's still a great price for a high flow aftermarket intake.
