General a/c question...
This site is so knowledgeable I thought I'd ask...
On a different German sedan my a/c quit blowing cold.
My pressure manifolds are reading:
Overnight, system off Low 90 psi, High 90 psi (so they normalize)
Start car and compressor the low bumps to 95 psi then settles back to 90psi...High goes to 0 psi.
Any suggestions?

Out Of Control!!
Your compressor is shot(unable to make pressure) and assumes that you have the required amount of refrigerant in the system!! However if no refrigerant=no pressure!!

Thanks.
This is what I was leaning towards.
So if I bleed off the residual 90 psi I have and add Freon...you think the compressor will not "make pressure"?

Out Of Control!!
Remember it was you that said, with the engine running I have 0 pressure on the high side.
To me that says that you have no refrig or you have refrig, but the compressor is not making pressure!!
