I'm assuming it's your ebay listing you're trying to shill on the downlow. While there may be some striping and detailing products that might be worthwhile, I doubt the R231 market will be clamoring for high contrast stripes.
Of course, I could be wrong.
I wonder what interesting, subtle, effect you could come up with using xpel matte clear and if it would be additive to a high end car. hmm.

My 2007 SL550 R230 has a bit of damage on the hood, a dimple of sorts where an idiot shut the hood with something on the engine, maybe a battery charger? There are small holes drilled at the edge so I assume a paintless dent remover guy has repaired it. Some days you notice it some days you don't. But when you do see it, ...I don't like it. It was 94 degrees the day I bought the car and so I didn't examine every inch carefully. But if I could find a tasteful racing stripe of some kind that could cover it, then it wouldn't look like it's been damaged. The car is all Black. So, I will have to look... and look. Don't want it to look cheap though. Or I could find a replacement hood in all black but good luck with that!!! Then, getting it installed right so it opens and shuts right, and doesn't look like a drunk aligned it. Again, Good Luck!!!!
