Curious to see what exhausts people on this forum are running on their SLS and how's the sound and performance?

I am running Weistec long tube headers, cat delete titanium mids and stock mufflers. Beleive it or not the stock mufflers make the most hp.

SuperSprint Headers and X pipes,primary cats with stock after that.

I wonder if there's any difference in the stock AMG exhaust on a regular SLS and the Black Series?

I'm thinking about changing the stock manifold to SuperSprint headers.
When they did the install on the headers did they have to drop the engine?

Exhaust or mufflers? The exhaust is completely different on the Black Series from the headers back. The Black Series has titanium exhaust between the headers and mufflers. I believe the standard and GT SLS and Black Series all share the same mufflers.

Is it the titanium section that gives the BS exhaust the better note? Or is header design slightly different on the BS too?

My bad, yes I meant the muffler.

No they did not,they removed the cross member underneath to install.I would do a tune with it.If you are installing the street headers from SuperSprint then you have to RELOCATE the O2 sensors from the CAT position to the merger neck otherwise you'll have check engine light and rough running engine.
