So as the title says, I'm trying to get A deal of carbon fiber lips for our cars, if we get 5 people they would make one for us, it would take 2-3 months for them to manifacture the front lip at a price of $1500. It would be an exact look of the one offered by Renntech.
Yeah tbh that's the only flaw for me, I would rather just get it ready, but the thing is they're not willing to do it unless there's a demand, and like the price of the renntech one is like a crazy $4500 which is really stupid. They would be coming from california, and Im not really sure the method they're using but it's like building it from scratch the same way any other manifacture does, but let me double check with them.

on the r8 forum theres one company that makes all there stuff aftermarket. its audi-oem. My rear diffuser was 2800. USED front lip was 1800.00 GT wing was 2800.00
trust me 1500? you better hand the cash over for brand new its so cheap. and yes my diffuser comes next week. I also have a cls so i got abunch of goodies for that too lol

Tbh yeah the audi OEM are selling their stuff at higher value, because people are willing to pay for it that much apparently.. 1500 is a good value compared to what wrench is offering, but still the CLS and other cars from the same company are offered for $500, which is CRAZY !! Im not sure whats the secret behind these prices, will try to figure it out

Lol it was kind of black market thing I guess lol, they ran out of the diffusers as far as I know, they just had couple of them as a preorder. There's no demand for it, I was hoping to get a side skirt too but the manufacturer said let's get the front splitter done first and like get enough people so they can produce it.
Sounds good, then hopefully we're getting it in 2 months or 3! I would always be down for group buys of other carbon fiber parts. I suggested creating a spoiler lid for the SLS too, but like let's get this done first.
the rear diffuser is nice because it go's around the whole bumper. But the ones were getting is much more aggressive. The side skirt is a bit much compared to renntech's which is so simple
