E63 W211 Header, Mid-Section & Tune Pics and Dyno Chart
We started this project on Monday to develop the mid section for the E63 to go with our 63 headers. We promised for a Thursday completion date and we finished right on schedule. With that said I'm happy to announce the we now have available for the E63 guys a header mid-section that is 100% bolt-on. No cutting, no welding, needed with this system. As always our systems are made out of stainless steel and are built to last a lifetime.
After tuning, this w211 E63 made 475whp and 428wtq on a Dyno Dynamics. Compared to other 63's we have done; we are very happy with the end result.
*This system will also fit the CLS63 as well

OK. Let me get this right. The E63 gained a respectable 58whp with the headers, midpipes and tune but the C63 gained 112whp with the same mods +K&Ns?

This testing confirms and reconfirms how detuned the M156 engines on the C63 are. Sorry, I am not trying to drift from the main topic, I am just throwing some data. Let me do the final break down:
E63 with some mods(headers,midpipes and tune) = 58whp gains and 54lb-tq
C63 with same mods(headers, midpipes, tune and air filter) = 112whp and 85lb-tq (look at the link I posted)
By the way, good job on your products. You guys are making some incredible high quality products.

Looks awesome. Why did you guys not throw in a h or x design for the mid pipe? That would allow for merging of the pulses and should yield better flow.

Well 200 miles in now and this car is a beast. The sound is menacing at WOT but hardly detectable at cruising speeds. You can definitely feel the difference the mods have made as the car just wants to go anytime you give it gas. I'm really thinking of getting the rear links now to keep the power planted.

We decided any header systems we make form this point on will have mid-section. As soon as an E55 shows up to our shop for headers, we will make a mid-section.

As someone who has MBH headers and mid-pipes installed on my
C63 I can enthusiastically endorse MBH products to anyone.
The welds and fitment are perfect. The car sounds absolutely
menacing at wot but very subdued when cruising around town.
Great job to Mike and the guys at MBH/DynoComp.

If you look at the dynos that have been linked it would appear that way. Although the C63 seems to have less TQ generated the peak HP appears similar.
