Highest torque and Tuner?
That's a number I'm more interested in since you drive torque. I'd also be interested to see the dyne sheets if you have them to see curve.
Thanks!

My last dyno on the OE Heart-breaker was 492hp/590trq -TRQ Peak at 3100 (91 octane)
Density Altitude: 4036 feet
. I'm sure there are people way north of that.... (Best was the 8th pull.. we were tuning the fuel rail. Ambient temp on final pull was 101F)
My dynojet numbers:(second of 2 pulls, no tuning)
CF STD 10:22am 87.92 F 29.70 in-Hg Hum:31% Density Altitude: 2924 feet
530.83 HP
592.30 TRQ

I hit these numbers with a kleemann tune
598 TRQ
503 HP
That was the 3rd pull and heat soaked since we did 2 pulls in 3rd gear before then tried 4th and made a little more power. On a cold car I think I would of made 605 RWT 510 RWHP
My car also made max HP@6300 rpms

Was that a mail order tune? Also do you think the reason for the higher HP was BC the computer was "learning" the dyno? Finally isn't 6300 a bit high for the RPMs?
I'm a lurker who's VERY serious about buying one of these and just want to find out what the car can do.
Thanks,
GNH

Im adding a TB soon and will redyno.I hope I break 530whp and 600trq.
I would do 168mm pulley,80mmTB,kleemann headers with primaries cut out and a heatexchanger.
that combo will give you consistent power on the street and pull all the way to redline without dumping fuel from heat with a bigger pulley. Here is a dyno of that setup,I added 80mmtb because some sl55s had the bigger tb stock.

To the OP. There are a LOT of heavily modified cars on here. Bassn07 holds the 1/4 mile (E55) record at 10.7 sec. Loco is at 10.8 (****ers!!!)
If your goal here is to find out what is possible with these cars, the answer is readily available. You can get to 500HP and 600TRQ (+/- 5%) with the standard host of bolton upgrades. After that, things get tricky.
Pulley
Tune
Headers
Exhaust (Primary Cat delete, or custom no cat set up)
Cooling (Heat Exchanger, Pump etc)
Throttle Body
After that, you have to get creative, and no one has really made any huge gains after this:
Cams
Heads
Add a couple of turbos
Jet pack
It is a car that can be build to run low 11's with a little $$ If you want to know who can tune to this level: Bassn and Loco (2 best 1/4 times) are OE Tuned, as is yours truly. There are a few options after that
Kleeman
Brabus
Renntec
Eurocharged
Dyno-Comp
+ others I cant think of
You can find info on each tuner under "search"

I know what's possible, I'm trying to get a representation of what's happening with tunes and I'm interested in the shapes of the torque curve.
And for the record I have a very heavily modded E55...

I think you will find that regardless of overall numbers, the torque curve of the 55K looks very similar across tuners and mods:
I like how the last one has a two different Inertia Rate / Ramp Rates configured on the dyno, and is shown as a comparison. I don't knock tuners, however two pulls with different ramp rates will give different numbers, even if tune is identical. This IR/RR is also set 33% low. Typically on the DD the IR/RR is set to 100@150.
