Airbox / Custom Y-Tube gains?? (82mm TB)

Has anyone done any real data comparisons between the modified 80mm Y-Pipe and other options? I have my car just about where I want it, and wonder if there is any advantage to getting a little more air in.

i've seen 15+ rwhp on a dyno so there is hp in the overpriced airboxes...but how much is that hp worth to you?

i think any y-pipe that was smooth and blended the air from both sides better while maintaining velocity would add measurable power. i think that's the main reason the r/t box works.

Thanks Chiromikey. Was wondering if that 15+ rwhp was with a 80mm TB or stock?

P-Carro
Make a larger Y-pipe and get rid of the OEM oval rubber hose coming from the airbox and add a larger piece with round ends

+1 on the pic request.
Would love to have my local fabricator mock one up for me.
