Picked up a '06 with 61k on it. Bone stock. Serviced by Mercedes it's whole life. Did a PPI through Mercedes (Car was taken in trade at Audi), tech gave it a big thumbs up minus the dry rotten tires. Threw on some Conti DWS (I live in Denver) and away I went. Drove it 750 miles back to Denver within 4 hours of owning it, what a great highway car! I look forward to learning about the car with the help of this great community. I have a hard time leaving cars stock so I am sure I will be lightening my pockets from time to time with some carefully selected go fast mods.
Looks very clean and should not have much to worry about with that service history. Do you know if the trans and fuel filter have been serviced?
Not sure on the fuel filter, what service is that included in?
Service notes to me were:
Checked the VMI (vehicle master inquiry) and
vehicle just had a B service and transmission service performed. Also
during time of service the charge air cooler pump was replaced. The
work was performed on 6/6/14. All service work was performed by
Mercedes-Benz dealerships.
Service B included:
Synthetic oil change mobile 1
a/c cabin filter
engine air filters
brake fluid renewal
plus top all fluids, full inspection brakes, tires, leaks..exc..

Congrats man, looks great and seems like a healthy history. Where was this gem located ?
I'll be getting mine this week as well. I will be doing 2x's your drive back mileage..yikes.
