go to accelerate, car losses power, stalls, won't start?
Car ran and drove great, just had the dealer replace the drivers side fuel pump sending unit last week. Well I go to accelerate and the car bogs down and no power, I was able to pull off in the parking lot and the car stalls. I go to restart it and it just cranks. I checked the fuel pump relay and fuel pump fuse and all are good. I waited a while and even disconnected the battery thinking its some glitch and still nothing. Just cranks and cranks. No check engine lights. I'm thinking that the fuel pump sending unit the dealer installed went bad, any ideas?

kinda odd after getting the fuel unit serviced and you are having fuel /starting problems. maybe something was not tightened snug and came loose? Def get it back to the shop.

when i car decided to cut off while taking an entrance ramp, i thought it was the cps or s/c pulley. Towed to the shop and found no fuel pressure at all from the fuel rail. CPS was changed and still no fp, ended up being the ps fuel unit connector coming loose and had a bent pin.

did you replace both pumps?
shop recommended i do on the one failing and literally a week after replacing i had the exact same thing happen you just explained and it ended up being the passenger side pump - we have 2 in the 55's

Wow, can't believe you just said that, the dealer called me and literally just said the same exact thing, that's it's the passenger side fuel pump. Not sure if I believe it, if these cars have two fuel pumps, it should still run on one pump, no....?

There's not a straight answer since there's many that are living with the leaking fuel and still driving around and then there's some like novae500 that the car just stops, I think it has to do with fuel pressure and voltage but what I have noticed is that they usually go out together or at approx. the same time
