A Couple of questions from a newbie e55 owner
Hey guys,
Just picked up my first Amg today, it's an animal and I love it!!!
I'm looking for a good shop to do some work ( sunroof is sticking and ticking, not closing once open) in the New York city / Long Island area
Any recommendations of trustworthy and most importantly, knowledgable shops out there?
Thank in advance

Reset sunroof, hold switch in open position for 5 seconds after it is open, then hold switch in the closed position for 5 seconds after it is closed.
The control will relearn the open and closed positions.

It's more like the gears are stripping or slipping when trying to close it.
I greased the track but still no luck
I got it closed by pulling the frame down toward the roof line but now the glass is angled up in the small air vent mode.
Think its an electronic issue or a mechanical track issue?

Thanks bro I tried that after an Audi gear head friend of mine recommended that as well.

Need a new roof motor. There is a DIY if you search for it
