Sidemirror light under mirror, how to replace bulb?
Hello hope somebody can help me,,
Anyone got any info on what type of bulb is under the side-mirrors, the white my left is not working right is
How to access it
What bulb type

If you bend the mirror housing all the way back, there is a big silver clip. Push it in with a flathead sdcrewdriver and it will release the outer housing. Hard to see the clip at first but when you see it you be fine. It's a much easier process than taking off the mirror. The video is of a c class but the process is the same on a w211.

If you bend the mirror housing all the way back, there is a big silver clip. Push it in with a flathead sdcrewdriver and it will release the outer housing. Hard to see the clip at first but when you see it you be fine. It's a much easier process than taking off the mirror. The video is of a c class but the process is the same on a w211.

Yeah it's hard to see. Bend the mirror all the way with one hand and look in there with a flashlight. once you know where it is you can push your flat head screwdriver in there. When you hit the clip, the housing will pop off like you broke something. But its fine. I know it's hard to see but look again with a flashlight. Hope this helps.
