The c63 mufflers are the gold standard for the w211 and the price reflects it.

I did a little different combo on mine with c63 mufflers to give a different tone and they insane!Sounds like a zr1 at wot with zero rasp, zero drone, drive normal sounds stock but wot it's the nastiest exhaust you ever heard. There the best mufflers you can get there straight thru with no restriction and wakes the car vs the stock e55 3 chamber style (there really crappy)..Some will say there is no gains with c63 mufflers this is true if your car is stock but fully modded then it will make a big gain in power.

Most US tuners still havent figured out how to eliminate the lean spike hiccup mode on the cars with larger TBs such as the famous 82mm TB.
Hiccup Free are the larger ones like "Renntech", or the two larger german ones "Renntech Germany" and "Mark Seidt". DTK, Demetre Taktakishvili's tunes by his tuner are also hiccup free with larger TBs.
Just so you guys know. I would love to go with another future tune by EC or Tony, but unless the Lean Mode is fixed i wont even think about installing a larger TB and then asking for a tune.
All the infos by those two german tuners i had contact with, are written here:
https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...ml#post7032755

It should be pretty easy if they know all the tables, to alter it and fix it. I still cant believe that to be honest that its not solved by those two (and maybe others?) tuners....

Dtk hasn't tuned enough cars to even come close to ec. Some cars take time to develop the hiccup while some are instant. I have been told that he was peddling stolen weistec tunes, correct me if I'm wrong.

As you stated RT is a great company with quality tunes no doubt, might not make as much power as ec but are practically worry free

His tcu tune is a copy of Westic and hulk is correct .Its a beefed up version of there's he copied and made a bit better .As far as tuners go for can I would only trust tony and for dyno tunes either one will be good .(Jerry ,tony ) as far Ask me t.b are not overrated they only help .2off your track times at most and get headaches in the mean time fitting them and getting codes

DTKs ECU tunes are not made by himself but by a local Georgian Tuner that wrote them from scratch. He sold some tunes already and he told me there wasnt a single one with a hiccup/leanspike issue and his tunes supposedly making good power if judging by many reports over at facebook. I dont know more unfortunately.

Yes the RT tunes making less power than Tony or EC, i know that. Same goes for the german tunes and this is my MAIN reason (next to their insane pricing for Box tunes, not even to speak about a dyno tune) i havent used a german tune, but an EC tune so far.
Also the germans dont know the OBD cable tune method and one even requires or recommends you to drive to his location for a tune. So this is a big no no for me, not even a hiccup free 82mm tune would justify that for me.

Thats why i really want to have US tune with hiccup lean-mode fixed.

The tuner that fixes my friends was done through the obd and he told me that as long as you have a galleto anyone can upload his tunes.

On dtk I would never recommend them to anyone for ecu tuning at this point.

I agree. I have heard good things about his TCU tune. But when it comes to the ECU have not heard much. And to be honest there are only 2-3 I would recommend to anyone.

From what I have been told the tcu tune was 100% stolen from weistec on the ecu tune I don't know as its hearsay but I can say that I very much doubt that his files are written from scratch many tuners that we know today still buy scripts on the ecu forums

I got my hiccup 99% fixed it's not that hard to fix it's in the tip in.The reason why many have it is cause the tuner needs to really work on the tables and takes time .Some cars are more sensitive then others and sending a basic can tune is very simple vs playing with multiple tables to pin point it.
