The KW coil over sleeves are amazing. You will not feel any significant difference in comfort.

Sorry to sound ignorant but what are the coil over "sleeves"? Also, looking at the KW website i can't find the E63 application. Should I be looking at the CLS stuff?

I've read a few threads about the HAS and from what I gather it harshens up the suspension quite a bit. I love the lowered look but hate to sacrifice comfort. On my previous 07 E63 I lowered it(using star) and hated the way the car drove. What are the KW sleeves AHI mentioned?

weistec has springs for the front, as does H and R...and just let the rear calibrate it self to match or links

But don't the spring sacrifice the comfort? still don't know what these "sleeves" are.

I bought the modified CLS kit. It consists of a coil over sleeve with spring, which gets installed on top of the factory strut. Rear comes with adjustable link. I had them installed on both my E63's, and it does not feel harsher imho. I have just now bought a sleeve kit for my AMG GTS as well. I think people refer to it as HAS.

Every other car in my signature has a KW sleeve kit installed (except for my rat rod). I swear by this suspension mod.

IMO if your couple H&R springs with OEM shocks it will be less harsh than a coil over setup

I just checked the Renntech website and see they offer an adjustable suspension kit specifically for the W212 E63. Would you say I should expect Renntech to be a better product with better ride quality over the KW kit? They are both the same price.

if you are worried about ride quality stay away from a threaded suspension setup.. stick to lowering springs!

This is not the case for the W212. Many have said with springs, the car is much stiffer than with the sleeve.

Do you generally drive your car in comfort mode or sport/+?
