E63 BiTurbo - Turbo upgrade- how reliable?
I have a 2013 (facelift) E63 BiTurbo (RWD) with a Renntech Tune, Capristo Valavetronic exhaust, Renntech (OS Giken) LSD and rear Toelinks installed. I am looking to go the Turbo upgrade route. Has any one done turbo upgrade. From whom? How RELIABLE is it in terms of a daily drive? Does the throttle response remain easy to modulate post the Turbo upgrade in terms of city traffic stop and go drive? What other upgrades are ESSENTIAL to maximise the power of the turbo upgrade? https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif

Is it reliable?
There are not nearly enough people with a turbo upgrade to gather enough data to determine the answer to your question, "is it reliable?"
some would argue that a stock AMG car is not reliable enough for a daily driver, though I use mine as a daily driver and so far it's been fairly reliable. Please keep this in mind.
Good luck on your quest

E63 BiTurbo - Turbo upgrade- how reliable?
I am also using it for my daily commute and it is as reliable as any other Mercedes. Drives like a dream on Mumbai potholes roads. And on open highways it is a pleasure to put pedal to metAl and enjoy the power.

2016 AMG S65, AMG GL63, 2012 AMG E63 With AMS Alpha 9 Package, Renntech 200 Catted Downpipes.
I can not comment about a daily driven reliability part because I just had it for less than 2 weeks. BUT itbis the only car I will drive these days. The S65 is slower than you think compares to my new beast.
My wife had been asking me, let's take the S65 out and I almost every time say no.

Thanks Davidkuo0330. How id the gas pedal modulation post the Turbo upgrade? Isi t as easy to modulate in stop and go traffic? How many miles have you driven post the upgrade? Have you only upgraded the turbo's or have you also added the larger cooler, down pipes etc.? From whom have you had the Turbo graded?
